Ask Bold AI

Bold AI is the assistant in Boldcaster. You ask in plain language how your priorities are doing, which numbers are behind or what a term means, and it looks it up in your own environment. It sits on the dashboard and opens from any screen. It is a beta: it can be wrong, and we improve it with what users think of it.

What you can ask

  • How are my priorities doing?
  • Which KPIs are behind, and who owns them?
  • What is open for me this week?
  • What are normalisations, and how does that look for me?
  • Where would I start this week?
  • Prepare a task for me: call the client about the quote

Where it looks

Bold AI looks up what your question needs. Under each answer you see where it looked.

  • Your priorities per quarter, rocks and OKRs, with progress and owner
  • Your projects
  • Tasks under priorities, in projects and standalone tasks
  • The KPI scoreboard with the status of each KPI
  • The week board
  • Who is in the team
  • The company valuation, for those allowed to see it
  • Performance reviews, for those allowed to see them
  • Monthly and quarterly reflections, for those allowed to see them
  • Hours spent per person and per period, for those allowed to see them
  • Notes from coaching sessions
  • The help Boldcaster itself gives with its screens and fields
  • Search tasks, comments, attachments, priorities and KPIs, including what is done
  • Who did what to a task, and when

What it can prepare for you

Bold AI never carries anything out itself. It prepares a proposal: you see what changes, from what to what, and you click Confirm or Don't. Without that click nothing happens.

  • Create a priority, a rock or an OKR
  • Create a project
  • Add a task
  • Update a task: the status, the owner, the due date or the estimate
  • A weekly task for yourself
  • Enter a KPI measurement
  • Set your priorities for today

What it does not do

  • It changes nothing without your click on Confirm.
  • It cannot change an existing priority, or create or change a KPI or the strategy. You do that in the app.
  • It deletes nothing.
  • It knows nothing outside Boldcaster and says so when you ask.

Who sees what

  • Bold AI reads with the rights of the person asking. What you may not see in the app, you will not hear here either.
  • The valuation and other people's reviews are only for those with access to them in Boldcaster. An employee does not get them, not even as an estimate.
  • A part of Boldcaster your organisation has switched off does not appear in an answer.
  • Only people who may change something in the app can do so here.

Where your data goes

  • The language model runs at Mistral, a French company, on servers in the European Union. Mistral is listed as a sub-processor in our data processing agreement.
  • We do not store your question or the answer. Only when you give a thumbs up or down do we send that question and that answer to Boldcaster, so we can improve Bold AI.
  • The conversation stays in your browser until you close the tab.

On or off

Bold AI is on by default. The owner or an admin switches it off for the whole organisation in the app, under Integrations and then AI.
