What it does
- Fetch your KPIs, priorities and team, in plain JSON
- Send numbers from your own app or database back as KPI measurements
- One key per organisation, with its own switch, separate from AI
Where it lands in Boldcaster
What you fetch comes from the same scoreboard as in the app. What you send back appears as a measurement on the KPI scoreboard, as if someone had entered it by hand.
Your data
Nothing leaves automatically. You or your system fetch or send data using a key, and only for the areas an owner has enabled.
Who turns it on
An owner, in the app under Integrations > API keys. They also choose which areas the key can read.
How to use the API
- 1An owner creates a key in the app, under Integrations > API keys. To send numbers back as well, they switch off Read only.
- 2Put the key in the Authorization header of your request.
- 3Call https://boldcaster.com/api/v1 without a key to get the list of endpoints and their parameters.
Example: send your own numbers to Boldcaster every night
Does your company run its own app, on Supabase or another database for example? Have it send a number every night, such as your number of paying customers. This is the entire request: your developer adds it to a scheduled job.
// Elke nacht: het aantal betalende klanten uit je eigen database naar Boldcaster.
await fetch("https://boldcaster.com/api/v1/kpi-meting-invoeren", {
method: "POST",
headers: {
Authorization: "Bearer bc_live_...",
"Content-Type": "application/json",
},
body: JSON.stringify({
org_id: "...", // uit GET /api/v1/wie-ben-ik
kpi_id: "...", // uit GET /api/v1/kpi-scorebord
waarde: betalendeKlanten,
}),
